The aim of the charity is to highlight the importance of relationships, from the earliest years throughout our lives. We fund studies that increase our understanding of the impact of relationships on human development and that show the benefits of psychological therapy. We also support innovative approaches to improving mental health and preventing ill-health.

The remit is wide, but the examples attached give a flavour of the work we do.

The TCF has been involved in reshaping its strategy with the aim of becoming more focussed on supporting fund raising for specific projects.

Preliminary explorations have been made in support of the following projects:

A proposed lecture series in partnership with the South Bank Centre

A series of seminars and conference exploring implications of new findings in relation to neuroscience and genetics, and their impact on social policy.
